How to Create An Evergreen Webinar Funnel
What’s “Evergreen” and Why Is It So Important?
Hello, my name is Jack Born. I’m the founder of Deadline Funnel. My goal in this training series is to walk you step by step through the process of creating your own evergreen marketing funnel.
What’s “Evergreen” and Why Is It So Important?
An evergreen marketing funnel is to your marketing what a sprinkler system is to a lush green lawn.
You get the green lawn without the pain of standing around waving the hose in the hot sun.
Your lawn is EVER green.
Let’s leave the analogy behind and return to your goal of growing your business.
There are a lot of ways to acquire new clients that take manual labor:
Public speaking at events Product launches Virtual summitsJust to name a few.
evergreen funnel puts your marketing into a repeatable and automated system. There’s a lot of different kinds of marketing funnels that are “evergreen”.
In this training I’m going to show you how to create an evergreen webinar funnel.
Why a Webinar Funnel?
Webinars can be used to sell almost anything from sub $100 products to $50,000 coaching programs.
But there are a few features of webinars that make them particularly powerful when done correctly.
- You can present your information in the order you want. With a salespage, it’s common for visitors to skim, skip to the price, and jump around between sections that grab their attention. Whereas with a webinar you get to tell your story and make your case in the order you want. There’s no skipping ahead.
- You can make a connection with your attendees quickly. In just a few seconds you’re going to connect with your audience through your tone of voice, your cadence, and your body language (if you share your screen). This can work for you or against you. But if you do it right, [tweetshareinline tweet=”you can quickly establish trust, likability, and authority.”]
Ready to jump in?
First let’s take a look at the webinar funnel you’ll be creating.
Don’t let the simplicity fool you. If your product is in demand and you have a strong offer (which I’ll cover later in this training series) this funnel will bring in consistent sales.
And once you understand this funnel you can start to build more advanced ones. The keys to making this automated evergreen funnel work are:
- An automated (and real) deadline
- Matching the timing of your emails and deadline automatically
- A powerful offer
- A webinar that converts
Before I go any further I should also point out that your product needs to solve a problem for an audience that has money to spend and is reachable.
If you can’t reach your prospects or if they can’t afford your product or they don’t have a big painful problem your product can solve… none of this will work.
As my friend Perry Marshall likes to say, “You can’t steer a parked car”.
Alright, let’s take a look at how this funnel works.
Overview
Your webinar is going to give a special offer on your product for a limited period of time . Part of this training will show you the key ingredients for building your powerful offer.

In order to maximize sales, you must have a deadline. And it must be real. Don’t use fake scarcity. ”
Here’s what’s coming next…
In the rest of this training (which you can go through as fast or as slow as you want) I’m going to give you answers and best practices for questions like:
What’s the ideal number of days to make my webinar follow up sequence? How do I make sure that the deadline is authentic across different mobile devices? How do I add an email countdown timer to my emails? What if someone shares my special page URL with their social network? Should you test your webinar presentation live before automating it? What should I do with prospects that miss the deadline?Plus, you’ll get an example email sequence you can use to build out your emails much faster.
The rest of the training is in the a convenient video library of short videos you can binge watch like a Netflix series.
